My baby boy is five months old! He's still in 9m clothes and we moved up to size 3 diapers.
Levi is always on his tummy reaching for his toys. He loves hanging out on his blanket at the playground, playing with wood chips. Thankfully he isn't coordinated enough yet to put them into his mouth. He also got to sit in the swing for the first time.
He's started to show an interest in food and will hold on to my hand when I'm eating with him on my lap as if to say: feed me mommy! So here and there we've offered him food to snack on - banana, pears, watermelon, but really just to try. He gets to play with a piece of fruit sometimes during dinner, but doesn't sit up well enough to enjoy it for more than a few minutes. And then there's that hand to mouth coordination thing... we're working on it!
Levi has put himself to sleep on his own a few times which I consider a miracle. I was nursing him, laying down with him, and had to get up to deal with fighting siblings. I heard him make noises, and by the time I came back, he had sung himself to sleep. So there is hope that we will get him out of our bed and into his crib eventually.
Taking baths with me is always a big hit, much more fun than his baby bath tub. Levi also can't get enough of his toes, they're probably his favorite toy.
Another highlight last month was going to his first tailgate at the Huskies football game.
He really loves being out and about, exploring the world. He's always so alert and loves to look around.
